1. PROJECT SHE TO SHAKTI

AnEmpowerment Programme speciallyfor school going Girls.

Shikhar Organization for Social Development started Project She to Shakti for girl students of govt. schools from class 6th to 12th. The sole objective is to empower them holistically. It will also facilitate them to improve their quality of living by organizing Health and Personal Hygiene camps free of any charges to the beneficiaries. It will provide a platform for them to build their confidence through counselling and self-defence trainings.

The inauguration of Project She to Shakti was held on 23^rd May 2015 in the presence ofMr. Ajay ChoudharyIPS & OSD LG to Delhi, Mr. M.S. Randhawa, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police-SED,Mr. Abdul Kalam Ex-chairman cum MD Coal India, Mr. Nadeem AkhtarCEO of Shikhar Organisation for Social Development, Dr. R. K. Suri, Chief Advisor of Shikhar & Training & Placement officer, JMI, Mr. Aditya Ghildyal, Vertical Head-HR New Holland India Ltd. and others. Many other dignitaries were present in the inauguration.

• To imbibe moral values through various lectures and Olympiads.
• To develop their understanding on career based decisions.
• To counsel them personally for better living and doing.
• To develop women leaders in the coming years.
• To attain the objectivity of the purpose.
